This proposed variation on the popular YAHTZEE game is submitted to the Public Domain for all to enjoy.
Anyone wanting to create a program from this that is playable on Windows (XP-Vista-7-8), Mac or Linux is more than welcome!

 Now, this version is similar to the many Triple Yahtzee Games that are played on computers, but has a few things
 which make it unique.


   A .. INCREASED BONUS SCORING

   The usual Triple Yahtzee Games feature 1x, 2x and 3x scoring columns.  In the Triple Yahtzee 99 variation,
   players have a chance to increase the bonus values of those columns to 2x, 3x and 5x respectively.

   To increase the scoring value of a column, you must make at least four 3-of-a-kinds (4 and 5-of-a-kinds will
   also count) in both the upper and lower parts of the column, wherever a (3) is indicated. There must also be
   at least 50 points in the upper half sub-total, and at least 200 points in the lower half total. When all of
   these conditions are met, the increased bonus takes effect.

   ** SPECIAL RULE FOR INCREASED BONUS SCORING **

   To get the increased bonus scoring, you must achieve the requirements mentioned above in the LOWEST VALUE COLUMN
   first (1x/2x). You may then complete the requirements for the 2x/3x column, followed by the 3x/5x.

   Should a higher value column already be at or above minimum requirements at the time a lower value column meets
   its requirements, that higher value column will not qualify for increased bonus scoring. Furthermore, if the
   2x/3x is already at or above the minimums when the 1x/2x column qualifies, then BOTH the 2x/3x and 3x/5x columns
   shall not qualify for increased bonus scoring.



   B .. YAHTZEE, YAHTZEE BONUS, JOKER & Plain 5-of-a-Kind

   A YAHTZEE is, of course, a 5-of-a-kind that is specificly recorded in the YAHTZEE columns. (column order does
   not matter). A YAHTZEE having five 1's, 2's or 3's will be worth 50 points; five 4's or 5's make it worth 60
   points; five 6's make it worth 75 points.

   A YAHTZEE BONUS can be scored in the appropriately marked columns any time after the three YAHTZEE columns are
   all filled. The first YAHTZEE BONUS  MUST  go in the 1x/2x column, the next in 2x/3x, and the last in 3x/5x.
   A YAHTZEE BONUS having five 1's, 2's or 3's will be worth 100 points; five 4's or 5's make it worth 120 points;
   five 6's make it worth 150 points.

   A JOKER is a 5-of-a-kind score that can be recorded in either the Small Straight or Large Straight columns.
   Point values for such scores are shown on the YAHTZEE diagram--see above, upper half of this page. JOKERS
   will not count as either a YAHTZEE or a YAHTZEE BONUS.

   A Plain 5-of-a-Kind is a score that can be recorded in any row of any column other than YAHTZEE, YAHTZEE BONUS,
   Small Straight or Large Straight. It will not count as either a YAHTZEE or a YAHTZEE BONUS.



   C .. 1st CHANCE, 2nd CHANCE & WASTE-A-TURN

   1st CHANCE and 2nd CHANCE are merely an enhancement on the traditional YAHTZEE CHANCE option. Both allow a player
   to do the same thing that the traditional CHANCE option allows -- to record a dice sum score that for whatever
   reason could not otherwise be recorded in any of the other columns. Scores may be recorded in either the 1st
   CHANCE or 2nd CHANCE  columns at any point in the game, and in whatever order that a player so desires.

   WASTE-A-TURN allows a player to do just what the term says. On those occasions in the game when a player feels
   that no score can be recorded in an appropriate column, then they can simply mark an "X" in a WASTE-A-TURN
   column. WASTE-A-TURN has no bearing whatsoever on a player's score or standing, and can be used at any point
   during the game.
